Information

During my writing several questions were asked most of all. I would like to address those questions here. For starters I started out calling Dancing a supernatural tale series two. Some thought the reason it was called series two was because Dancers Curse of Love was the second collection of books within the saga or series. Sheamalight Existence is series one. So, I started calling the cursed saga the cursed collection to help with that confusing part. Dancing a supernatural tale has always been part of a massive story. To be truthful I never thought the story would ever be made public.

The short version to how it came to be. I was writing for fun hoping to someday be a writer. I asked my wife to read my work and see if she thought it was good enough to publish. The end answer to that question was, "I don't like it but its good." Yea to me that was a polite way of saying don't quit your day job. But I knew very little about the reading world at the time. In time I learned the meaning behind that. Later after several years of writing this massive story. I brought it all to an end figuring it would never see the light of day. I highlighted the entire story and hit backspace. One of the stupidest things I have ever done, I might add.

I started listening to audio books. Not by choice my co-driver drove at night, and he listened to them to help keep him awake and pass time. One restless night I found myself getting into the book and thinking of my story that I wrote. So, I went back to my wife and asked her a simple question. You don't like it, but it is good don't make any since to me at all. Why don't I try this. If someone wrote a book for you, what would it be? Her response was a romance. Now that got me to thinking. Romance I's more of a high fantasy, action, suspense and syfy guy with some drama thrown off in the mix. Magical dancers were part of a side story that rejoined the major plot. So, using my memory about that part I changed it up to be a romance novel. In the beginning I thought the story was going to be its good, but I don't like it again. I started in the middle of the story. not worrying about the outcome of what it would do if I had published it. After all it would likely be for her eyes only.

Yea! talk about being wrong. She loved it. It was at the point to where she was asking me to stop and write. I thought Okay I can do this, but I need another opinion. So, I asked a friend to look over it and tell me what they thought. That was how dancers curse of love came to be. Boy did I do it. I made more mistakes than the Capitan of the titanic with the same outcome. Trusting people to do their jobs and not check cost me a lot.

Not that I am putting myself down, but the book needed a lot of work, and I was new to the industry.  I had to have a lot more work done to the book. At this point I was going to have to take the book off the market because it was so bad. Not the story or the plot but the editing. I sat down again with my wife and told her if I was going to do this, I wanted to tell the story as a whole. Yea! Right! In the middle of a side story that was over halfway through an entire collection. Never said I was the sharpest tool in the shed. Maybe instead of rushing I should've thought this through a little better. But such is life, live and learn.
